Thank you for the articles about the buck. He and his friends used to visit my yard every day. He was spectacular! At the end of October we stopped seeing him and I began to worry. In mid November I saw him and his ladies while walking my dog on Grey Eagle Cir. N. At that time I was very upset because I noticed he was limping and I could see blood on his fur. His antlers were not broken at that time. I was distressed to learn about him in your first article, but it sounded like there was nothing that Wild Life was going to do. He had apparantly been in another fight after we had seen him in November. I would look for him every day as I passed Vindicator. I noticed he was gone that Saturday. Thank you for letting us know what happened to him. I do hope he will heal and live out his life in the new habitat. We are so blessed to have these amazing creatures in our backyard. He was very special. I will miss him.
