Left a response indicating the overwhelming negative feedback from our customers at All Star Rental Inc. regarding the proposed roundabout. (An independant Uhaul dealership located at 1644 S Tejon). Our comments were not posted as the agenda appears to pass through the roundabout project even if it is not needed or wanted by the vast majority people who live and work in the area. Will this roundabout damage our business-YES. Am i upset about this -YES. I think that would be a natural response by most people. Am i upset that tax dollars are being spent on a project that is not needed-YES. Again most people would be.

I own the business- All Star Rental Inc. (Uhaul) that the roundabout is taking half of my usable parking area for equipment. I have been in Ivywild for 23 years and can assure you that i am absolutely without question opposed to the roundabout. Perhaps if other homes or businesses were to be severly damaged as ours is people wouldnt be so excited to see the roundabout go in.. We serve the populace of Ivywild and without exception every customer that has spoken to me is against the roundbout . The consensus from the city is that the intersection is needed due to being congested and dangerous. Anyone who has lived here for any amount of time knows this to be not true. We are a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where stability is so important. The city claims that they have the money to spend from the Federal government so they need to spend it.The roundabout is going in regardless of the overwhelming opposition to it by not only my company but the people- (our customers ) (our friends) who live here.. Am i upset that this will hurt our business- YES. Am i bothered that our city is spending tax dollars on a project that is not only unwanted but not needed -again YES. You should be upset also. Many of you are and we appreciate not only your concern for us but the friendships we have developed over the many years you have welcomed us into your neighborhood.
