How is one planning process the usurpation of a neighborhood, and the other a bunch of whining?  Seems to me that if we want to have more community input in the land use and development, we need to start with the planning commission, and work to change the rules by which staff operate in reviewing a proposal.  Government needs to be responsive to the citizenry from whom it derives authority, not just to business (or special) interests who develop working relationships.

Of course, this butts up against property rights.....

		<description>Well ill say it. 125 people are not enough people to oppose anything that has the money to do as they please with there land. More than likely there are more in that neighborhood that would welcome the center. Besides the traffic around there is already a mess and has been since we bilt it.</description>
