Folks at Sierra Pointe Condominiums have been upset for months about operations of the homeowners association that governs the 282-unit complex. There have been feuds among members and repeated recall elections and general turmoil.
New HOA president Randy Pech is committed to restoring order and part of his effort involves strict enforcement of the covenants, or rules, to restore the general appearance of Sierra Pointe.
But his efforts are stirring up residents even more, especially his decision that a mural visible to only a handful of residents must be removed. Pech calls the mural an eyesore. To its artist, Sierra Pointe Annette Daymon.
Here is a photo of the mural taken during 2007, courtesy Daymon:

==================================
Randy Pech has been nothing but a huge pain to the homeowners at Sierra Pointe Condominiums. Whenever asked or presented with an actual concern by a homeowner, he responds with legal mumbo-jumbo and finds a way to place blame onto others instead of addressing the issues.
Pech was voted in by the SP homeowers to represent them and their best interests as the board president. But instead of serving the community who put faith in him with their votes, he chooses to ignore them and continue on with his self-serving attitude. I don’t know where he surfaced up from but he is not the Lord and Master of Sierra Pointe.
Pech has done nothing but continue to in-fight with other board members who do not share his closed-minded views. As soon as someone offers another opinion or expresses concern over the way that the association money is squandered, he calls special meetings to have these people removed from the board.
Serving as a community representative on the Sierra Pointe Condo board does not automatically qualify you as a neighborhood arbitarator or judge/jury for people having the misfortune of living at SP.
Randy, you need to step down and let someone who actually cares about the community to have a chance to serve.
